cocoa brownies with browned butter

Some days I wish I were a million miles away instead of being right here in the thick of it.

I would much prefer to be sitting above it all, watching all the crazy stuff people are doing down on earth.

You know, instead of being here doing that stuff myself.

Days like this call for something simple. Something comforting. Cocoa brownies with browned butter?

Yes, please.

  24. I have a recipe similar to this, and last time when I added the eggs I think they cooked or something!? It was weird, have you ever had that happen? They tasted like food.

    1. Hi Roxy- I had that happen once with ice cream. Scrambled egg ice cream = gross. I've never had that happen before with this recipe though. If you try it, make sure you let the hot mixture sit for a thorough 5 minutes before mixing in the eggs, make sure the eggs are chilled, and make sure you whisk your little butt off as soon as you add them :) That sounds high maintenance now that I've typed it, but its not. I promise. Let me know if you try it!
